Tenille Townes News…..New Music Video and UK Tour Dates!

There’s definitely exciting times ahead for Canadian born/Nashville resident Tenille Townes and her ever-expanding fanbase! In case you missed it, Tenille was kind enough to answer our interview questions recently (http://www.bellesandgals.com/2018/08/01/interview-with-tenille-townes/) and we promised to keep you updated with any news of this exciting new talent, a promise we are keeping right now!
Just a few days ago she unveiled this incredible video to accompany her deeply moving song “Somebody’s Daughter” , saying “ “It makes me so happy to have this video out in the world, telling a visual story of this song with a message that is so important to me. My hope is for people to feel empowered to recognise those around us. We’ve all got a story and something we’re working through and I believe the little things count. There’s a lot we can learn from a kid at a lemonade stand”

This version of the song (which previously appeared on her highly acclaimed acoustic EP “Living Room Worktapes”) is taken from her upcoming debut album, produced by Jay Joyce, which is due for release next year on Columbia Nashville/Sony Music UK.
Tenille has just finished an extensive US tour, opening for Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town on the Bandwagon Tour and gaining a whole bunch of new fans, and is shortly heading to the UK for the first time where no doubt she’ll win the hearts of a lot more people! Speaking as someone who has seen her perform in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame where she played stripped back versions of her songs and talked about what inspired them, I highly recommend you catch her over here as part of the CMA Songwriters Series ( alongside Ashley Campbell, Kassi Aston and host Chris DeStefano ) and Londoners also get the chance to catch her opening for Drake White as part of Country Music Week ( dates below)
