Morganway Release ‘Frozen in our Time’ Ahead of Upcoming Album

Morganway have made a tremendous impact on the live circuit in recent months, creating a tremendous buzz. I was lucky enough to see them live for the first time at the back end of 2018, and they bring a brilliant energy to the stage. Founded by twin brothers Callum (vocals/guitar) and Kieran Morgan (lead guitar), and inspired by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac and other classic guitar bands such as The Eagles, Morganway have caught the eye of many in the industry. This year they were nominated for two BCMA awards, while they’ve received acccolades from the legendary Bob Harris too. Fans of Morganway will be absolutely delighted to hear they’ll be appearing at the 2019 C2C festival too, a stage the East Anglian collective will surely relish – don’t be surprised if they are the talking point of the festival from a UK perspective.

Morganway ‘Frozen in our Time’ Lyric Video

This first single has an originality rarely seen on the scene, with brilliant harmonies and that amazing expansive sound of theirs. Morganway are a six-piece band and they come together seamlessly to create ‘Frozen in our Time’. As founding member Callum puts it, “I am the main songwriter, although each one of us plays a vital role in the overall sound and experience of Morganway.”

Alongside Kieran and Callum Morgan are violin maker and former circus performer Nicole J Terry (fiddle/vocals), longtime musical collaborator and lead vocalist on ‘Frozen In Our Time’ SJ Mortimer (vocals), part time DJ and genre-defying keyboard player Matt Brocklehurst, and rhythm keeper Ed Bullinger (drums).

Morganway will be headlining the next ‘Nashville Calling’ event in Essex (a collaboration between us at Belles and Gals and Black Barn Music!) on Tuesday 26th February (tickets here).
