Belles and Gals are incredibly excited to announce our sponsorship of the Country Mind Benefit show in aid of UK mental health charity Mind. The country music showcase is being held at the Acapela Studio in Pentyrch, Cardiff on the 29th March 2020 with all proceeds going to Mind.
Curated by Belles & Gals team member and music journalist Laura Klonowski, the charity show sees Norwegian-born and now London based artist, Liv Austen performing alongside Welsh artist Eleri Angharad. However, those heading to the show are in for a treat as there is another artist which will be announced very soon!
Laura has a close connection to the charity and says “I have decided to put together a showcase for Mind because my family has a long history of mental health issues and I have my own struggles with anxiety so having an outlet such as Mind is vital to make sure we all stay in a healthy mind space”.
As a huge fan of country music, it was only fitting for Laura that the show be a showcase of some brilliant UK based country artists. “A country concert seemed the perfect way to raise some funds while ensuring everyone has a fun night. With performances from the insanely talented Liv Austen and Eleri Angharad plus one artist still to be announced I can promise that everyone attending will be in for a truly magical, inspirational evening of live music”.
Tickets for the show are £14 and can be purchased online from acapela.co.uk.
Date: Sunday 29th March 2020
Venue: Acapela Studio, Heol Y Pentre, Pentyrch, Cardiff, CF15 9QD.
