Country-Pop superstar Kelsea Ballerini is set to represent the world of country music at this year’s BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, London. The annual event, being held on the 15th September, sees an eclectic mix of musical talent grace the stage with acts from all genres showcasing their latest and greatest tracks to a 50,000 strong audience.
This year’s line up has a range of performances which includes legendary artists such as Status Quo, Pet Shop Boys and Simply Red. Performances from the event will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and the BBC Sounds app. Alongside the live radio broadcast, viewers will be able to watch the show live on the BBC red button and the BBC Radio 2 website. Highlights from the event will be available on BBC iplayer and the BBC Sounds app for up to 30 days after the event.
The show marks Kelsea Ballerini’s only UK performance for 2019, with her previous visits occurring during 2018 at the Country to Country Music Festival held at the O2 arena in London, SSE Hydro in Glasgow and 3Arena in Dublin. Ballerini is also set to release a brand-new single from her third album ahead of her performance at Hyde Park, confirming to a British Fan on Instagram that the track will be available before the 15th September.
