fast-rising British country music duo Two Ways Home today return with their brand new single ‘Speed Of Anything’. The new track from Isi and Lewis is the first taste of their forthcoming LP and is an impactful introduction of the next stage of their musical output. It’s a gorgeous, infectious song about a love story of “kids living down the street just waiting to meet” whose sweet romance reignites up years later down the line.
The London based alt-country outfit have raised over £10,000 through crowdfunding to offset costs of their upcoming album which is set for release soon. ‘Speed Of Anything’ is the record’s lead single and sees Two Ways Home experimenting with a more country-pop influenced sonic style.
Having written with the likes of Liz McClarnon, Twinnie, and Charlie Worsham over the past several years, the new music showcases the duo’s songwriting prowess with a mixture of genres and influences – an exciting statement of intent for the next chapter of their career which promises to see them becoming one of the most sought after acts in the ever-growing UK country music scene.
Speaking about the making of the new track, Two Ways Home said: “Speed of Anything is the first single from our forthcoming Album. It was written in London, recorded in Vienna and mixed in Brisbane by Stuart Stuart. The song is a declaration of love unbound by time. We can go the Speed of Anything, as long as I’m with you.”
Along with sharing ‘Speed Of Anything’ today, the pair will also be heading out on tour this October and November:
15th October – London (Under The Bridge)
27th November – London (Half Moon Putney)
28th November – Manchester (Jimmy’s)
29th November – Cheltenham (Smokey Joes)
30th November – Andover (The rockhouse)
