On Friday, October 18th, fast-rising British country-Americana inspired singer/songwriter Emma Moore will release her brand new single ‘Dutch Courage’ to the world. The independent artist is looking to build on her previous success within the scene and really gain some traction when the track officially drops next week.
Speaking about the single, Emma says: “I’ve missed performing live so much and especially with my band, so this is the perfect song to kick off this new chapter with. I love the energy, and while it still tells a story it’s a song we can really let rip with and have fun playing”.
Here at Belles and Gals, we are delighted to say that we have had a sneaky early listen to the Tim Prottery-Jones produced rock-infused song and can confirm that it is her best release to date with its old-school Miranda Lambert vibes and lush Ashley McBryde worthy guitar work.
Vocally, Moore makes sure that listeners sit up and take note from the very first lyric thanks to her strong tone that will leave you swooning. This is a very American vibed track that wouldn’t seem out of place on Country Radio in the States, thanks to its funky rock crossover production, sing-a-long chorus, and soaring guitar work. Think Carrie Underwood meets Miranda Lambert.
Sonically it’s a very fresh sound that not many homegrown acts are releasing or making right now, meaning Emma Moore is in her own lane within the ever-growing UK country music scene which gives her room to grow and really build her own following without being compared to any current British stars.
‘Durch Courage’ will have listeners turning the volume dial to the max and belting out the catchy chorus from the off. It has that hit vibe and will no doubt become a major player across radio when it officially drops next week. You can pre-save the single right now via Spotify.
