It’s a huge day in the career of Hannah Paris. Tonight she’ll be headlining at the Camden Chapel in London, a show that has already sold out, and literally a couple of hours after she steps off stage, her new single ‘Lost in the Wind’ will be out.
The new song comes hot on the heels of previous single ‘Crazy for You’, a song that stormed into the top 10 of the iTunes UK Country Chart, a brilliant duet with Josh Gleaves. In my opinion, ‘Lost in the Wind’ is possibly Hannah’s finest release so far. Having heard the track many times on the live circuit, the new release is a track that grabs you instantly and keeps you tuned in and invested throughout the four minutes.
Lyrics such as ‘You had me, for 10 long years, after all these years, what’s left of me? You’ve had me, begging on my knees for you to see me‘ show an emotive vulnerability from Hannah, a side to the artist not always seen before. The song builds nicely, without ever feeling the need to take it too far, ensuring Hannah’s excellent vocals claim centre stage throughout. 2019 has seen Hannah Paris take a real step up in her career, and with releases so strong as ‘Lost in the Wind’, that upward curve is sure to continue.
‘Lost in the Wind’ is sure to be incredibly received in the packed Camden Chapel tonight. You can download the song yourself here – https://music.apple.com/gb/album/lost-in-the-wind-single/1481403889
