Laura Oakes Releases New EP ‘How Big Is Your World’

UK country superstar Laura Oakes is back with the release of her brand new and much anticipated EP ‘How Big Is Your World’.

The Liverpool born singer/songwriter has cemented her status as one of the UK’s leading lights within the industry having toured with the likes of Ward Thomas, The Shires, and Sarah Darling in recent years.

And earlier this year headlined her own tour across Britain – showcasing her immense talents.

With this EP she shines a light on her soaring vocal, standout songwriting skills and delivers a truly beautiful country-pop crossover record that will no doubt delight her ever-growing fan base.

Speaking about the record which incorporates a blend of British and Nashville sonic sounds, Laura Oakes says: “the title track ‘How Big is Your World’ was written 18 months ago, in a time when none of us could have ever imagined the reality we are currently in – what’s so unbelievably weird is this song feels like it might as well have been written about this unique situation. For a lot of us, our world doesn’t extend beyond our own front doors right now – but this song was created to say that if our hearts and mind are open to each other – if we accept, help and care for each other – our world can be as big as we want it to be”.

Featuring hit singles such as ‘Better In Blue Jeans’, and ‘Welcome To The Family’, this is a project that delivers a punchy crossover sonic sound that is totally unique the art form of Oakes.

The Scouse performer always pens songs from a place of honesty and this record feels like we’re getting a little behind-the-scenes look into who Laura is as a person behind the artist persona.
