After a hugely successful Facebook live stream concert last weekend, Sarah Darling decided to return to the social media platform on March 28th for another beautiful show.
This time the Nashville based singer/songwriter and adopted Brit streamed live from her front room alongside her good friend and fellow musician Tyler Flowers (note, they complied to the 2m social distancing measures) with her husband James behind the camera.
Sitting on her plush couch, Sarah kicked things off with the “sweet little love song” ‘Anchor’, delivering a note perfect rendition before showcasing a brand new track in the form of ‘Good Little Girl’.
The new one was written all about how we all try to present a perfect image to the world, with Darling noting it’s about “saying goodbye to that little angel on your shoulder for the day”.
Already a feeling like a timeless classic, this is a sure-fire hit that will no doubt become a major fan favourite.
Keeping with the new music, Darling then delivered ‘Get To Me’ which was penned with Emily Shakelton and is another classic Sarah Darling track that delivers a dream like quality.
Moving onto Campfire Sessions territory, Sarah then performed a divine acoustic cover of Shania Twain’s worldwide hit ‘You’re Still The One’, before premiering another new track in the form of the gorgeous ‘Gravity’.
Stating that in this time we need an escape more than ever, Sarah ended the live stream by transporting us all to the golden fields of Wyoming with her stunning smash single ‘Where Cowboys Ride’.
A beautiful song to end with and signing off with the sweet message “take care of each other and stay safe”, Sarah Darling demonstrated these live streams are all about bringing a little light into these dark times.
You can watch the Facebook live stream back right now and you can also donate via a virtual tip-jar which can be found in the video post.
Be sure to keep an eye on Sarah’s socials in the coming weeks as this Thursday she will be hosting a baking special via Instagram Live, before making a special announcement next week!
