“Daytime Black” is the second video we’ve featured from Emma Moore’s brilliant debut album “Pilot” and if you’ve followed this site from the start, you’ll know how highly we rate Emma (there’ll be some big news regarding Emma and Belles and Gals coming soon too…)
This is a highly emotional song which addresses the subject of loss with great elegance and serenity and a song that I’m sure many of you will connect with. This is obviously a very personal song to Emma herself, although in writing the song she wanted to ensure that ‘everyone listening can relate it their own lives’. The video is simply stunning too, the black and white effect working perfectly, while the emotion of the song is displayed fully by the singer. Overall, the combination of the song and the video is just beautiful.
