Fiona Culley – Surrender

Today I feature the wonderful Fiona Culley for the first time. As a UK based site Fiona is of particular interest to us at Belles and Gals as she is from Staffordshire but has headed stateside and forged a successful career in Nashville. She has recently co-written and recorded a song with Darius Rucker (who we all now know will be appearing at C2C 2017!) who said “In a sea of talented female artists Fiona shines through. She demonstrates both a powerful vocal ability and unique artistry to have a long and bright future in the genre.” A recent cover of her singing Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” has received over 2 million views.

“Surrender” is just a beautiful song and I’m sure you’ll agree that Fiona Culley has an absolutely amazing voice. It’s fantastic to see a UK act making waves in the home of country music and there looks to be no limit as to how high those waves could become. I’m lucky enough to be interviewing Fiona later this week and I can’t wait to share with you her story.
