River Walk – Liv Lawrence

It’s always a pleasure to feature a new artist on Belles and Gals, and today we share a track from Liv Lawrence for the first time. Liv is an 18 year old singer from Chelmsford in Essex, and ‘River Walk’ is her first single of the year. It’s clear on listening that Liv Lawrence has a vocal ability that belies her young age, and the song and video combine in the best traditions of country, to tell a story.

‘The song is called River walk and is about exploring parts of the world I’ve always wanted to experience with someone special – for example San Antonio River Walk. It’s also about leaving your town and making your own journey! The main inspiration for the track was the artists I listen to every day – Kacey musgraves with her emotional connection to her lyrics and Midland with their old school country sound!‘
