Taylor Swift is not just a pro at striking poses on the red carpet; she’s also got a keen eye for stylish phone cases.

The pop icon has quickly built up a collection of square-shaped phone cases from Flaunt, recently showcasing her newest pick, the Icy Blue Pearl model, in a behind-the-scenes clip from the creation of her smash hit “Opalite.”

A long-time enthusiast of the brand, Swift has also been spotted flaunting her Pink Mother of Pearl and Opal Shell cases on various social media platforms, the latter serving as a clever nod to the “Opalite” track, in my opinion.

About three years ago, I got my first Flaunt case, inspired by Swift’s pearlescent pink one associated with her “Lavender Haze” vibe on TikTok. I was certainly not the only one influenced by her choice.

“Her endorsement has not only significantly boosted our visibility but also emphasized that a phone case is an integral part of one’s style,” Carlo Argila, co-founder and CEO of Flaunt, told Page Six Style.

“Having Taylor naturally incorporate Flaunt into her daily style has been a huge endorsement. Her strong personal style and the way she includes our cases in her outfits have been major highlights for us,” he added.

Swift isn’t the only celebrity fan of Flaunt’s geometric cases. Stars like Gigi Hadid, Sofía Vergara, Kylie Jenner, and Megan Thee Stallion have also been seen with these distinctive accessories. It’s clear why these cases are a hit among celebrities.

These cases are available for a range of models from iPhone 13 to 17 and include versions for Galaxy and Pixel. They’re not just protective; they’re also real conversation starters, whether I’m at a meeting or having dinner with friends.

“We aimed to make a phone case that was a true fashion statement, unlike the purely functional designs available at the time,” said Argila. “Our square design not only sets us apart but also adds a touch of elegance and style, making our cases as important to an outfit as shoes, a handbag, or jewelry,” he explained.

While the primary role of a phone case is to protect your device, Flaunt excels in this area as well.

The square design provides extra shock absorption due to the additional space at the corners, which offers better protection against drops, according to Flaunt. Furthermore, all their stylish cases are tested for drops from up to 12 feet.

Personally, having used Flaunt cases exclusively for years, I’ve dropped my phone countless times without damage, from bathroom tiles to city pavements.

While these cases may not offer the heavy-duty protection of brands like OtterBox or Mous, they strike a balance between style and safety that suits everyday needs.

“We see customers who treat their phone cases like their wardrobe, changing them to match the season, holiday, or simply their mood,” Argila noted. “This behavior really highlights how our products go beyond functionality; they’re a fashion statement,” he added.
