The spine-chilling series “American Horror Story” makes its return tonight, September 24, with its eagerly anticipated 13th season aptly named “13.”

The latest installment of “AHS” sees the return of more than a dozen beloved actors from the show’s previous seasons. This includes Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, marking their 10th season with the series.

For the first time since 2018, Jessica Lange rejoins the cast of “AHS”, reviving all four of her previous characters in this season.

“This season pays homage to all previous seasons, a feat we are not likely to repeat,” series creator Ryan Murphy revealed to The Hollywood Reporter. Murphy also directed the season’s first episode, his first directorial role since the 2015 “Hotel” season premiere.

“What familiar horrors will revisit the eerie corridors of ’13’, and what new frights are in store?” teases the season’s synopsis. “Light your candles, draw your pentagrams, and brace yourself for an unexpected twist.”

Cast of ‘AHS’ Season 13

The ensemble for “American Horror Story” Season 13 features a mix of familiar faces and newcomers. Over a dozen actors from previous seasons reprise up to five of their past roles. Sarah Paulson appears as Cordelia Goode (from “Coven” and “Apocalypse”), Sally McKenna (“Hotel”), Ms. Wilhemina Venable (“Apocalypse”), Karen (“Red Tide”), and Mamie Eisenhower (“Death Valley”).
