The singer posted on Instagram to show off her Halloween outfit, revealing she dressed as Noodle, the avatar guitarist from the virtual band Gorillaz — complete with a bright blue bob and full latex styling.
For the ensemble, Eilish wore a white latex mini dress with red trim, paired with elbow-length latex gloves and thigh-high striped latex socks.
She finished the look with Converse shoes and a red ribbon tied around her neck. It wasn’t clear from the post whether the shorter, lighter hair was a wig or the result of dyeing her freshly cut locks.
Fans flooded the comments with praise, and Gorillaz bassist Seye Adelekan even chimed in, writing, “Smashed it. Come to our show next time!”
Although Eilish has kept her hair a deep, nearly black brown for years, she’s long been known for experimenting with vivid shades.
She’s also credited with popularizing the trend of having brightly colored roots that contrast with darker lengths.
Last month, Eilish had returned to a more natural hue, sharing a mirror selfie sporting a strawberry-blonde, and reportedly her shortest, haircut to date.
The singer is gradually stepping back into public life after taking time away to shoot the film adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar, in which she portrays the protagonist, Esther Greenwood.
