An insider revealed to Page Six that the renowned cannabis enthusiast felt the urge to snack, prompting a quick visit to the fast food joint before his club appearance.
Upon his arrival at Heist, it was reported that there was nothing left of his McDonald’s feast!
Snoop Enters with Style and Snacks
Accompanied by a sizable group, Snoop walked into the club with McDonald’s bags in hand, having enjoyed them earlier in the car, according to a clubgoer who spoke to Page Six.
The source noted that Snoop arrived with about 15 people, including his son Cordell Broadus, also known as “Champ Medici”.
The crowd inside the club was thrilled to see the rapper, yelling out his name and clamoring for photos, as per reports.
Earlier Performance and Controversy
Earlier that evening, Snoop took the stage at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium, where he performed solo and even took on the role of DJ during his set.
However, his appearance sparked controversy online, especially among liberal supporters who criticized him for his perceived inconsistency regarding Donald Trump. Snoop had previously made headlines in 2017 for a music video in which he used a toy gun on a Trump impersonator, and he openly criticized entertainers who considered performing at Trump’s 2017 inauguration, threatening to harshly critique them through his social media.
Addressing the performance, former CNN anchor Don Lemon discussed it on his YouTube show, “Lemon LIVE at 5,” questioning whether Snoop and other hip-hop artists were compromising their integrity for financial gain.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk chimed in on his platform X about Snoop’s performance, noting, “The vibe shift is real.”
While Snoop has not directly addressed the criticism, he shared a clip on Sunday featuring the late Charlie Murphy from a Dave Chappelle skit. The post seemed to brush off the backlash with a caption that suggested indifference to the haters.
