Margot Robbie is making waves with her latest film, “Wuthering Heights,” which is a hit at the box office.
Throughout her press tour, Robbie showcased a range of high-fashion outfits, but the makeup she sported in the movie—such as Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm—is more wallet-friendly.
The movie’s lead makeup artist, Siân Miller, shared with Allure that this $6 item was a go-to on set to prevent conspicuous lip lines.

The moisturizing balm, which enhances your natural lip color, is also a staple in Robbie’s personal beauty collection. She even highlighted it in a 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“I’m not a fan of lipstick; it ends up everywhere on me. Instead, I prefer a tinted lip balm like Burt’s Bees,” she mentioned in the interview.
However, Robbie’s character, Cathy, sports more than just drugstore lip balm in the film. Once Cathy arrives at the opulent Thrushcross Grange, she switches to Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk, a celebrity favorite.

Miller also employed an array of blushes for Robbie’s scenes at the Grange, such as Pat McGrath Divine Cream Blush, Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Hope and Happy, and Merit Flush Balm in Après and Postmodern.
“I was inspired by the ‘pomegranate girl’ TikTok trend of 2024 for Cathy’s fresh, clean look,” she explained.
For the earlier, rougher scenes in the film, Miller gave Robbie a subtle flush using No.1 de Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm, aiming for a youthful glow reminiscent of adolescence.
For the character Isabella (played by Alison Oliver), Miller chose Kylie Cosmetics Hybrid Blush in Winter Flush for a more delicate pink look.
“Makeup and hair styling are sometimes underrated for their role in storytelling,” Miller noted. “I hope the choices we made effectively helped convey the characters’ stories.”
