Following her celebration for the best picture award for “One Battle After Another,” Teyana Taylor graced the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2026 red carpet dressed in a stunning white Chanel gown paired with matching satin footwear.
The gown featured elegant chain straps that accentuated its dramatic open back and was complemented by a choker necklace reminiscent of the brand’s iconic handbag designs.
At 35, the actress and singer displayed her array of tattoos along her spine, rib cage, and forearm, wearing a gown adorned with star-shaped, crystal embellishments at the shoulder blades. She enhanced her ensemble with a sparkling set of diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Earlier that night, Taylor had appeared on the Oscars red carpet donning a different Chanel outfit — a black-and-white gown adorned with feathers and a see-through panel around the waist. She received a nomination for best supporting actress for her role as the resistance fighter Perfidia in the politically charged thriller directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Leaving the Vanity Fair event, Taylor switched into her third outfit of the evening for a gathering at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood: a freshly debuted Schiaparelli ensemble highlighting her toned midriff.
Described by the brand as “squiggle wiggle knits,” her outfit consisted of a wool and cashmere top featuring waves of leather-trimmed fabric and gold snaps, along with a coordinated midi pencil skirt and black gloves.
She rounded off this look with Schiaparelli’s illusionary gold toe mules, priced at $4,100.
A regular at the Vanity Fair party, the Harlem-born star annually showcases her unique style. In 2023, she opted for a menswear-inspired outfit, combining a sheer blouse, pinstripe pants, and a metallic breastplate, accessorized with jewelry from Vivienne Westwood.
In 2025, Taylor went bold in a cherry red gown by LaQuan Smith, crafted from sheer power mesh featuring hip cutouts and a voluminous ruffled tulle skirt that elegantly swept the floor.
This year, Taylor confirmed her status as a red carpet standout throughout the awards season. She clinched her first Golden Globe wearing a custom Schiaparelli gown with a crystal-studded thong, followed by a conservative Burberry trench-coat dress at the BAFTAs.
At the Actor Awards earlier this month, she turned heads in a Thom Browne “naked” illusion dress, with her daughter Rue Rose Shumpert, aged 5, adjusting her train on the carpet.
Away from the red carpet, Taylor featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s winter 2026 issue, posing as Lady Liberty in Ralph Lauren and a custom Bode pearl crown. In her interview, she shared insights into the “All’s Fair” group chat with fellow stars Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close.
“When you’re on set with all girls, the group chat is lively, and we’re all just having fun,” Taylor recounted to the magazine. “It’s like, ‘Oh my God, does anyone have this? Oh my God, Kim, I need you to call over to Skims. I need a bra ASAP.'”
