Last weekend saw Shania Twain make her long awaited return to the stage with a massive set at the Stagecoach Festival in California. During the set in front of 75,000 fans Twain debuted her new single ‘Life’s About To Get Good’ which is the 51-year-old’s first single in 6 years.
The track has been produced by Matthew Koma who is most famous for his EDM productions. The insanely catchy song has gone down very will with listeners and we cannot wait for the single’s official release this June.
Ever since Shania premiered the track at Stagecoach fans have been eager to hear the studio version and their prayers have now been answered thanks to NBC. The song is featured on their Winter Olympics advert which will premiere on TV in the US on Saturday during the network’s broadcast of the Kentucky Derby at 6pm ET.
Speaking about why the chose Shania Twain’s comeback single as the promotional track for their advert commercial, NBC’s Sports Chief Marketing Officer Jenny Storms, says: “We’re always looking for a great piece of music to help tell the story. ‘Life’s About To Get Good ‘is the first single to be taken from Twain’s upcoming album’ Triumphant’ which will be released this September.
