Lauren Jenkins Returns To The UK!

Anyone who caught Lauren Jenkins at this year’s C2C ( and those who just love her music anyway!) will no doubt be excited to hear that she is returning to the UK this September as part of a European tour. Starting off with an appearance at The Long Road Festival she will play headline dates in Glasgow and London, as well as various dates in Germany and Amsterdam.
Just a few days after C2C Lauren released her debut album ” No Saint” onNashville’s Big Machine Label alongside an original short film ” Running Out Of Road” which features three of the albums ten tracks and which the multi talented artist not only wrote but co-produced and starred in…..and as it was filmed in New Mexico it’s very appropriate that it was nominated for ” Best Short Film” at the state’s annual Roswell Film Festival this year.

Currently promoting her album Stateside (including an Opry appearance last week) Texan born/ Carolina based Lauren is no stranger to life on the road, having started touring at the tender age of 15. Many of her experiences have naturally found their way into her songwriting, as Laura says “Some of these songs are from my first chapter of coming to Nashville, and some are from the chapter I’m in right now. I’m so grateful I was able to have my hand in writing, producing and creating all the visuals in telling my story. Flaws and all, this record is part of who I am and who I’ve been.”
Her writing and sound is at times catchy pop/country ( ” Payday” ) and at others pretty dark and very thought provoking ( ” Blood” ) . And it’s great to see her collaborating with so many incredible female writers, including Jessie Jo Dillon, Heather Morgan, Liz Rose, Ingrid Andress and Emily Shackleton, the latter is who she exclusively wrote the album’s lead single ” Give Up The Ghost” with, a song which taps into her southern rock influences

I find Lauren intriguing and exciting both lyrically and vocally, and if you’re at her London show I’ll see you there! Tickets for all her European dates are on ale now, for further information go to
