Sabine Releases New Single “Over”

Since the release of her debut single ” Love Is Not Enough” almost exactly a year ago, talented UK singer songwriter Sabine has definitely not sat back and let the grass grow under her feet. It was the lead single from her first EP ” Intertwine”, and some of you may have been fortunate enough to catch her out on the road promoting this gorgeous four-track release. 2019 also saw her hopping across the pond to collaborate with writers in Nashville and also to perform at the Texas Sounds International Country Awards .
She is now preparing for the release of her second EP ” Heart Of Mine” later this year , and last Friday she shared a her new single with us, the gorgeous ” Over”. This is the first song she has released totally independently and I remember it striking a chord with me when I heard her perform it live towards the end of last year. Sabine draws on personal experiences when it comes to her songwriting, and ” Over” was inspired by the tough decision to end a relationship that she knew had to come to an end. Lyrically Sabine is a very astute writer who is not afraid to bear her soul and what her voice lacks in power is more than made up for in its rich tone, smoothness and her emotional delivery… this track is a perfect example!
The accompanying video which she filmed herself sees her in the studio with her band members Nye James, Simon Frankton and Oliver Court ( in the days before social distancing!) who also contribute some beautiful vocal harmonies. I particularly love the delicate finger picking guitar accompaniment, and the way this track builds and then comes back down again.

“Over” is available to stream/ download now in all the usual places.
