Zoee’s ‘Nashville’ – Official Lyric Video Out Now!

A month ago saw the release of ‘Nashville’ from Zoee. It would be fair to say that it’s been a strange month since, where the effects of the Covid-19 virus have made the world a very different place. However, in these weird times, it’s great that art is adapting and fantastic content is still being created and shared.

Included in the video is some fantastic footage from Zoee’s time in Nashville and the eagle eyed among you will spot Zoee appearing at the legendary Bluebird cafe. The song is a high energy blast, and the video only adds to that energy – it’s a great watch. And you can also sing along too!

We wrote this about the song last month:

‘Nashville’ from Belles and Gals ambassador Zoee is an upbeat track where the sheer energy of the artist (if you’ve seen Zoee play live, you’ll know she might be the most energetic artist on the UK scene) shines through. Lyrics such as ‘So I guess I’m going to Nashville, Tennessee, where the music sounds like home to me‘ show off that love for the city, while the anthemic chants of ‘Nashville’ (where Zoee sings it, then a crowd repeats the word back) make this a song that you’ll want to hear live. In listening, you can’t help but feed off that energy – it’s uplifting and has a vibe that makes you want to get up and show your own passion for music!

About Zoee

The chart-topping and multi-award winning Australian-born singer/songwriter (actress, model and more recently TV Host) Zoee is one of the most exciting Alternative Country/Americana/Pop phenomena to hit the UK country music scene. Having already worked on a feature film soundtrack, topped the Scottish New Music Charts and holding the No#1 position for over 6 months on theReverbNation Charts as well as currently on a U.K tour, Scandinavian & a US tour where she performed at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow and at the prestigious CMA Festival in Nashville alongside the likes of Tim McGrawCarrie UnderwoodLuke BryanOld DominionLuke CombsKeith UrbanThe Brothers Osborne, Hunter HayesLindsay Ell and many others in support of music education (and working to support Musicians Against Homelessness on her U.K. tour), further corporate events for the likes of Unilever in Sweden, and after having also recorded to vinyl in NYC and sessions with the legendary Whispering Bob Harris (of BBC Radio 2) it seems highly plausible to say that Zoee is taking the UK and US Country music scene by storm.
With her band, she has touched the hearts of thousands while she’s travelled the world performing. Her ever-present storytelling & uplifting songwriting style has been compared to world-class artists such as Rod StewartJames BluntSteve EarleDolly Parton & Taylor Swift. Dusted with underlying messages & entwined with personal narratives, Zoee keeps her sound grounded & raw, much like the music of the 1970’s & 1980’s. Elegant. Powerful. Individual.
With just one voice, two guitars and a Cajon, Zoee & The Band, are a unique talent worth looking out for.
