Lauren Jenkins Shares New Video

A few months ago we told you how Lauren Jenkins was now recording as an independent artist, having been suddenly dropped by her label, Big Machine (https://www.bellesandgals.com/2020/05/11/lauren-jenkins-new-single-and-new-beginnings/ ). She had just released her first single while flying solo, the beautiful ” It Ain’t That Hard” , an empowering and positive ballad which showcases her amazing talent as both writer (she co-wrote the song with Phillip Lammonds and Billy Montana) and vocalist.
Well Lauren revealed a few days ago that she’s been busy working with a host of friends to create a suitably atmospheric video to accompany the release, in particular she credits Brooke Stevens (photographer) and Gideon Klein for their help on this project which seems to truly have been a labour of love by all concerned. Lauren directed, produced and edited it herself. Speaking to fans via socials , said that ” this video (and frankly recording) is a bit of magic because I had limited resources, no crew, budget or gear. But luckily my friends graced me with their talent and time”, continuing that “the video is only a few minutes long but it took me months to edit”.

Lauren has been sharing more new music during her live streams in recent months, there’s some fantastic songs believe me, so let’s hope her plans for more independent releases are falling into place too.
