Louise Parker releases the official video for ‘Paradise’
Last weekend Louise Parker released her first single of the year with ‘Paradise’ – a reimagined version of her release from two years ago. In the last week, Louise has confirmed to her fans on a live stream that this is a track from her upcoming album, which we can expect in April – Louise confirmed this during her performance of an unreleased album track, ‘Should’ve, Could’ve, Will’ last night on the UK Country Music Spotlight Awards last night.
In our review of the song last week, Lesley Hastings stated, ‘the song begins with Louise’s suitably fragile vocals expressing her trepidation that the relationship may not last more than one night while telling how she is none the less determined to surrender to her feelings and make the most of whatever time they may have together because “we have found paradise“’
Louise Parker:
‘I had a daydream about this video, no fancy tricks just sweet simplicity like the song. I wanted it to be bright and warm, set in the studio where it was recorded and filmed by my friend, and long term producer, Paul. The video was premiered on the two year anniversary of the very first release of ‘Paradise’, a real celebration of how far I have come and how resilient and passionate I am about my music, and featured a special guest who is very important to me. I couldn’t be prouder of the video, although I will admit to feeling scared about my fans reactions! I should’ve known they would love it as much as I enjoyed fantasising, filming and producing it, they never let me down.‘
