Tennessee Twin’s ‘Rear View Mirror’ – Out Now

If you’re a close follower of the UK country scene, you’ll know all about Tennessee Twin, who are building a fantastic reputation as one of the UK’s finest. Tennessee Twin are a duo, Geoff and Victoria, who since forming have tied the knot themselves – they obviously liked eachother’s singing! Belles and Gals were impressed too as we were delighted to invite them to come and play at our most recent showcase event.

On the night we were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of their track ‘Rear View Mirror’. It’s one of those fantastic songs that sounds great live and produced! In the last couple of weeks, we’ve featured a series of male/female duets and this one is up there with the best of them. The song opens with a fantastic pedal steel guitar (tell me a country fan that doesn’t love a pedal steel guitar) before Geoff’s vocals take centre stage, setting the scene for the song. He’s walking out of a door, suitcase in hand – ready to take a chance on love! Then Victoria tells her story, telling us about the trials and knocks in love and how she has now found home. The song is a great testament to not looking back at those ‘cracks in the rear view mirror‘ and has a real joyous feel to it. Not to mention the powerful vocals of the duo that elevate both the song and the message.

Tennessee Twin: ‘We hope Rear View Mirror will become a favoured theme for anyone looking toward a brighter future, just as we’re looking forward to our future plans for more new music’

This is another fine single from Tennessee Twin and will absolutely ensure the continued rise of Geoff and Victoria.

The song also features the duo’s band ‘The Railroad Preachers‘ plus, guesting on dobro and pedal steel guitar, the phenomenal Sarah Jory.
