Robbie G.K. Spills on ‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2, Fashion Risks, and Broadway Dreams

Robbie G.K., from the series “Heated Rivalry,” often remarks that he’s more than just a handsome face.

Since its debut on HBO Max, the hockey-themed romance from Crave has become a major success, dramatically transforming the life of the Canadian actor.

“The excitement comes in waves,” G.K. shared with Page Six Style about the show’s overwhelming reception.

“Sometimes, it all seems like a dream, or I feel like the show isn’t really that significant. Then on other days, I’m utterly surprised by its global impact. I wish there was a term stronger than gratitude because my feelings are so much deeper, being part of this ride.”

In recent times, G.K. has been spotted in the front row at Paris Fashion Week, attended the Super Bowl, and most recently, appeared in an Ugg campaign featuring their Otzo Clog. In a smart marketing move, François Arnaud, who portrays his character’s love interest in “Heated Rivalry,” was seen donning a pair shortly after the campaign launched.

“The photo shoot was relaxed, enjoyable, and really matched my style,” G.K. remarked. “The Otzo Clogs are my first pair of Ugg footwear, and I find myself wearing them daily.”

Below, the actor from Ontario talks about his collaboration with Ugg, his evolving fashion sense, and his favorite smoothie blend. (Hint: The banana is crucial.)

Ugg has a special place in many of our hearts. What has your experience been like with the brand?

“I recall Ugg initially being known as a super cozy, warm footwear choice during Toronto’s harsh winters. It’s been fascinating to watch them strategically evolve into a stylish, upscale, yet comfortable brand.”

How do you define your fashion style, and has it changed since attending more red carpet and fashion events?

“Functionality remains a core aspect of my style, but as my daily activities have shifted, so has my fashion. Exposure to numerous fashion events has definitely inspired me to experiment more boldly. Comfort remains essential, especially since I travel frequently now, everything I wear must be extremely comfortable.”

You have a background in musical theater and dance! If you could perform in any Broadway show, which one would it be?

“That’s an easy one: I’d love to be a part of the Jets male ensemble in ‘West Side Story.'”

The next season of “Heated Rivalry” seems so distant! Can you share anything about what’s next for Scott and Kip?

“I honestly don’t know what’s in store for ‘Skip,’ and if I did, Jacob [Tierney, the show’s creator] would never forgive me if I spilled the beans. I just hope the next season fulfills the fans’ wishes.”

Last question, what’s your go-to smoothie?
