LA’s FireAid Benefit Event Unveils Star-studded Performer List

The music community is uniting to support Los Angeles with a fundraising event.

After wildfires tore through Southern California in early January, the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum are joining forces to host the FireAid benefit concert on January 30th.

This exclusive event starts at 6 p.m. PT and boasts an impressive roster of artists performing at both venues. The concerts aim to gather funds to help rebuild the affected communities and support future fire prevention measures.

The lineup for this spectacular event includes:

Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and Tate McRae. Furthermore, Dave Matthews and John Mayer will be sharing the stage for their first-ever joint performance.

More guests and specific venue lineups will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale January 22 at noon PT via Ticketmaster.

For those unable to attend in person, FireAid will be broadcast in select AMC Theatres and streamed live on platforms such as Apple Music, the Apple TV App, Max, iHeartRadio, Netflix, Paramount+, and Prime Video. For more details, visit fireaidla.org.

Taylor Swift, The Eagles, and Others Contribute to LA Wildfire Relief

Several artists are stepping forward to help rebuild Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift, known for her charitable efforts, disclosed via Instagram Stories on January 16th that she made donations to several organizations aiding the relief efforts, including the California Community Foundation Fund, Greater Los Angeles Education Relief, Habitat for Humanity, and MusiCares.

“The California fires have caused immense devastation to many families, and witnessing the unfolding tragedies has been heart-wrenching,” the pop star expressed. “With so many facing difficult recoveries, it’s inspiring to see the collective efforts of various groups to help these communities rebuild.”

Other contributors include The Eagles and Beyoncé, donating $2.5 million each to the FireAid event and the LA Fire Relief Fund, respectively. The Weeknd has contributed $1 million, while Jennifer Lopez has donated numerous personal items to the wildfire victims.

Local artists like Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, and Dave Grohl have been actively volunteering, providing aid and serving meals to the first responders fighting the ongoing fires.

Grammys to Continue with ‘Renewed Purpose’ Following LA Wildfires

The 2025 Grammys will proceed on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.

Despite the recent wildfires, the Recording Academy confirmed on January 13 that the awards show will go on as initially planned.

“This year’s Grammys will focus on supporting wildfire relief efforts and paying tribute to the heroic first responders,” stated Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy and MusiCares, alongside Board of Trustees Chair Tammy Hurt.

“Music uniquely heals, comforts, and unites, especially during hard times. This year, the Grammys will celebrate not only the musical talents but also the resilient spirit of Los Angeles,” they added.

Although several pre-Grammy parties have been canceled, other events are still scheduled:

  • Friday, Jan. 31: MusiCares Person of the Year Charity Gala, honoring the Grateful Dead
  • Saturday, Feb. 1: Special Merit Awards Ceremony & Grammy Nominees Reception, and Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Fundraising Event

In collaboration with MusiCares, the Recording Academy has raised over $2 million in emergency aid for music professionals impacted by the wildfires. Visit musicares.org to learn more.

Live Nation, meanwhile, is aiding musicians and live music staff through The Crew Nation Global Relief Fund, which has allocated $1 million for those affected.

“Los Angeles is home to countless individuals vital to the live music scene,” said Michael Rapino, President & CEO of Live Nation Entertainment. “Crew Nation is committed to supporting these essential workers during these challenging times.”
