During a recent appearance on Seth Meyers’ talk show, her first since initiating legal action against Justin Baldoni, the 37-year-old “Another Simple Favor” actress shared delightful tidbits about her four children, including their opinions on her fashion choices.
Meyers questioned whether her daughters, James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, ever critique her outfits. Lively emphatically nodded and said, “Oh yeah, definitely.”
She humorously described their distinct personalities, mentioning, “One of my daughters shares a birthday with Napoleon and Jennifer Lawrence. It’s like a mix of those two.”
Meyers teased her about the notion, saying, “Is that how birthdays work? You blend…?”
With a laugh, Lively responded, “Maybe! I’m not too sure, because I’m not really into astrology.”
The former “Gossip Girl” star mentioned her daughter—likely referring to Betty—is “the funniest person ever” but also predicted she might “govern with a strong hand.”
On the other end of the spectrum, Lively shared that her two-year-old son Olin is “incredibly romantic” and constantly declares her as “the love of his life.”
She excitedly shared, “I find myself dressing up daily like I’m back in middle school, always hoping he’ll compliment me.”
However, Lively did not comment on what her children thought about her outfits for the show. For her interview with Meyers, she chose a white ruffled dress by Christopher John Rogers.
Later, she was spotted leaving Rockefeller Plaza wearing a blue tweed skirt suit from Carolina Herrera.
Keen observers noted that Lively had removed her wedding band for the appearance on the talk show. Instead of her usual Lorraine Schwartz pink diamond ring, she wore a turquoise ring on her right hand and a silver pinky ring on her left.
During the interview, Lively mentioned that her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their children have been her support system during a particularly tough year, hinting at her ongoing conflict with a co-star from “It Ends with Us” and describing their family life as “nonstop chaos.”
