UK officials alarmed by China’s plans for a massive new embassy in London

The designs include offices, underground facilities, staff residences, and even a tunnel linking the buildings. If completed, it would replace China’s current embassy in London and accommodate hundreds of officials, making it Beijing’s most significant diplomatic base in Europe.
