Having left television four years ago, she approaches this milestone with disarming serenity, as looks have never been her focus. “I have never liked wearing makeup,” she admits, likening herself to the character from the series Punky Brewster: “As a teen, I was a bit like her.” A free spirit from the start, far removed from glamorous standards. Even today, she insists that pretense doesn’t suit her: “With makeup, I feel like I look 20 years older. In heels, 30 years older,” she states. The same goes for her hair: “And styled with a blowout, I almost look like a senior!” says the forty-something.
