Sandrine Kiberlain is recognized as one of the French actresses who epitomizes natural beauty. However, she is not entirely opposed to the idea of undergoing plastic surgery, though she has her reservations. Here are her thoughts.

Sandrine Kiberlain graces the cover of ELLE magazine, an issue that has been available since December 5th. In it, she discusses her views on beauty and the signs of aging.

The interview was part of the promotional efforts for the movie Sarah Bernhardt, La Divine, set to release in theaters on December 18. While portraying a pivotal French actress of the 20th century, Kiberlain does not share her character’s view on cosmetic surgery. Unlike Bernhardt, who underwent the procedure twice, Kiberlain has never had surgery. “I haven’t done it because it scares me a lot. Disease and surgery are very frightening to me. The less I visit hospitals, the better I feel. It’s kind of a phobia,” she explained. However, the former partner of Vincent Lindon isn’t completely closed off to the idea. “But maybe one day I’ll see myself on a big screen and think my face has changed. Could someone help me? It wouldn’t be about staying young at all costs, but about feeling presentable without it being uncomfortable for me,” she shared, as a mother who wants to stay sensible about cosmetic surgery.

At the age of 56, Sandrine Kiberlain has maintained her distinctive beauty. To do so, she relies on one of her favorite beauty brands: La Mer. Her preferred product is “The Moisturizing Cream” which contains an anti-aging ferment known as “Miracle Broth.”

“I particularly appreciate that the story of La Mer, and the Miracle Broth in particular, speaks to the respect for nature. This includes the algae whose cycles must be respected and which are still transformed today using certain light and sound waves,” Kiberlain highlighted in ELLE.
