“Britney recognizes herself in Jayden,” a close source revealed to Page Six. “Having started her own career at a young age, she admires his dedication to his craft.”
The 18-year-old showcased his skills in music production with a post on Instagram on December 21, shortly after he returned to California to reconnect with the 43-year-old music icon.
“Britney is enamored with Jayden’s musical style and believes he brings something new and exciting to the scene,” an insider explained. “She is incredibly proud of him and the obvious effort he has invested in his passion.”
Britney’s Full Support for Jayden’s Career
Sources indicate that Spears is convinced of her son’s talent and foresees a promising and successful career for him in the music industry.
“Britney is fully supportive of Jayden’s pursuit of a career in music production,” the source added.
She’s reportedly not offering much advice, trusting in his abilities, but she has made it clear that she’s available to help or provide guidance whenever he might seek it.
Rekindling Family Ties
Last month, Page Six reported that Spears and her son have mended their once-distant relationship following Jayden’s return from Hawaii. He had moved there with his brother, Sean Preston Federline, and their father, Kevin Federline, in August 2023.
“Jayden is now an adult, and Kevin is supportive of his sons’ decisions to reconnect with their mother,” another source commented regarding the former backup dancer, who was married to Spears from October 2004 to July 2007.
The award-winning singer shared an emotional video on Instagram last week, celebrating Christmas with Jayden, her first in several years, telling her 42 million followers it was the “best” Christmas ever.
“Best Christmas of my life! I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years!!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!!” Spears exclaimed in her post.
In the video, Jayden greeted Spears’ fans and together they wished everyone a “merry Christmas.” Following this, Jayden began following his mother on Instagram again after a long hiatus.
However, it appears that Spears’ eldest son, Preston, who is 19, has not yet reunited with his mother.
Representatives for Spears have not yet responded to Page Six’s inquiries for comments.
