2025 French Bac Written Exam Dates
The preliminary written French exams are set for Friday, June 13, 2025, in the morning for general and technological bacs, and May 12 for the vocational bac.
2025 French Oral Exam Dates
High school students will take the French oral exams from June 23 to July 4, 2025, based on their individual summons.
How Will the French Oral Exams Be Conducted This Year?
The French oral exam for the general and technological bac consists of two parts, beginning with a 30-minute preparation period. In the first part of the exam (12 minutes), the student prepares the selected text by the examiner and performs a reading aloud, followed by a linear explanation of a passage about twenty lines long. They must also answer a grammar question related to the chosen text. In the second part of the oral exam, the student presents the work they have selected from those studied in class (lasting 8 minutes). The first part of the oral exam is scored out of 12 points, and the second part out of 8 points.
