The 47-year-old actress shared her new look for Season 10 on Instagram last week, showcasing her lighter hair as she ran her fingers through it.
“Season 10 hair ready! Let’s go!” she exclaimed in the caption, giving a shoutout to her styling team at the Nine Zero One salon in Los Angeles.
Fan Influence on Hewitt’s Hair Color
During an Instagram Story featuring her colorist Nikki Lee, Hewitt mentioned that her followers had encouraged her to maintain her lighter hair, which she had switched to during the show’s break in April.
“We’re keeping the blond — we heard you guys,” she confirmed.
This marks the third hair color change for her character, Maddie Han, over the same number of seasons. Originally a brunette, Hewitt transitioned to a copper tone in May 2025, a color dubbed “Sunset Lover” by Lee. She debuted this look at the Los Angeles premiere of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in July of that year.
Supporters seemed thrilled with her latest blond transformation, with one fan commenting, “Gorgeous then, super gorgeous now.” Another praised, “You can do no wrong. You’re a badass.”

Anticipation Builds for Season 10

This prediction might not be too far-fetched. The finale of Season 9 saw Maddie earn a promotion at the call center, stepping in for her boss, Sue, who had suffered a stroke.
“9-1-1” is set to return for its 10th season this fall on ABC.
