“I feel privileged to contribute to the Louis Vuitton x UNICEF project for the World Cup,” Kardashian shared in her post. “All proceeds from this project will go to support children through the UNICEF fund .”
Originally crafted for the 1998 World Cup in France, this limited-edition leather soccer ball, complete with elegant tan leather straps, has risen to the status of a highly sought-after collector’s item among fans of the brand.
The resale market sees these pre-owned collectibles fetching prices around $2,100.
Kardashian follows in the footsteps of other celebrities who have showcased this designer sports accessory. For instance, in 2019, Rihanna was spotted with the ball at a UEFA Champions League game between Juventus and Atletico Madrid in Turin, Italy.
