This bizarre French customer habit is driving shop owners crazy
Move over jerseys and T-shirts; these celebrities are showing their support for the Knicks all the way to their underwear.
As the New York team battles in the NBA finals for the first time since 1999, numerous partners of the players have been spotted sporting their devotion with Fleur du Mal’s blue-and-orange All Star Demi Bra and Cheeky Panties.
This trend was first noticed last year during the playoffs, when fans caught a glimpse of this athletic-inspired lingerie set in a photo of Kylie Jenner’s luggage—leading to a viral moment that even Jennifer Zuccarini, the founder of the brand, didn’t foresee.

“We were surprised by the buzz and attention it got,” Zuccarini explained to Page Six Style, referencing Jenner’s rise in visibility courtside with Timothée Chalamet.
“I recall someone reposted her picture with the caption, ‘Knick lingerie is insane!!! You’ve got a keeper @RealChalamet,’” she continued. “It was quite enjoyable.”
Since then, the basketball-themed lingerie set endorsed by the founder of Kylie Cosmetics has garnered attention on social media from various celebrities including Shannon Hart (Josh Hart’s wife) and Jordyn Woods.
“Obsessed,” Woods commented on Instagram recently, showcasing a photo of the panties customized with her fiancé Karl-Anthony Towns’ jersey number.
Ana Zortea, significant other of Miles “Deuce” McBride, also showcased the style’s versatility by letting it subtly show under a low-cut top in a recent video at a game.
Zuccarini shared that the creation of such designs is often influenced by the team’s own interest in sports, saying, “You’d be amused to know that we might be discussing last night’s game while fitting a gorgeous lace bra.”
Although being married to an NBA star is not a prerequisite to rock this style, quick action is recommended since the brand has had to restock due to high demand.
The list of celebrities donning Fleur du Mal extends far and wide; Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Tyla have all been seen wearing the brand’s daring designs. Jenner herself has frequently embraced various Fleur du Mal pieces, Zuccarini noted, reminiscing about a custom metallic bodysuit made for Jenner for a Paper magazine shoot about a decade ago.
However, one famous Knicks fan who hasn’t yet worn Fleur du Mal is Spike Lee. “I’d be thrilled to see Spike Lee in our men’s silk pajamas at a game,” Zuccarini mused. “We’d gladly customize them in Knicks colors just for him.”
