Here’s the most recent casting updates for some of the most awaited adaptations.

Gwyneth Paltrow in “Strangers”

Gwyneth Paltrow is confirmed to take the lead in the Netflix adaptation of Belle Burden’s acclaimed memoir, “Strangers.”

Additionally, Paltrow will act as executive producer for the project, as reported by Variety.

“It’s bizarre to think of any actress portraying me,” Burden shared with Elle. “But I believe she’ll be phenomenal. Her performance in ‘Marty Supreme’ was memorable, and it’s exciting to see her return to acting.”

The memoir “Strangers” explores the shocking conclusion of her 20-year marriage when her husband suddenly abandons the family without any forewarning.

According to Page Six Hollywood, there was intense competition for the film rights among several companies, including Netflix, A24, and Warner Bros.
