This bizarre French customer habit is driving shop owners crazy
She chose an elegant black off-the-shoulder dress and accessorized with a strikingly colorful necklace.
The necklace, a creation by designer Lorraine Schwartz, was adorned with over 200 carats of Colombian emeralds, making it a standout piece.
Sánchez originally showcased this stunning piece of jewelry at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, complementing a white strapless gown by Oscar de la Renta.
For the White House occasion, she enhanced her look with large diamond stud earrings and carried a sparkling handbag, styling her hair up in a tousled bun. Her husband, Jeff Bezos, complemented her attire in a classic evening tailcoat.
Noteworthy attendees included the first lady Melania Trump, who was dressed in a pink Dior Haute Couture, and Ivanka Trump, who opted for a blue caped dress by Reem Acra. The event was in honor of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, hosted by the president.
Sánchez’s attire for this state dinner was more muted compared to her appearance at the 2024 state dinner, where she turned heads in a sheer lace red corset dress.
Moreover, just last month, she described her inauguration outfit in 2025 as “conservative” in an interview with the New York Times, a statement that later drew criticism.
