Reunion at Elie Saab’s Fall 2025 Collection

Former stars of “Gossip Girl,” Leighton Meester, 38, and Kelly Rutherford, 46, were spotted at the forefront of the Elie Saab Fall 2025 fashion show this past Saturday. Both adorned in the exquisite creations of the renowned Lebanese designer, they graced the front row with their presence.
Leighton Meester, famed for her role as the Upper East Side’s icon Blair Waldorf on the CW’s hit series from 2007 to 2012, opted for an elegant green lace dress adorned with floral patterns, complemented by chic black slingback shoes.
On the other hand, Kelly Rutherford, who portrayed the elite Manhattanite Lily van der Woodsen, mother to Serena van der Woodsen played by Blake Lively, chose a soft pink sheer dress embellished with sequins, paired with classy cream pumps.
The duo was captured in a lovely snapshot alongside actress and singer Sofia Carson and the designer Elie Saab himself.
A clip circulating on X (formerly known as Twitter), from an account dedicated to 2000s pop culture, shows Meester playfully tapping Rutherford on the shoulder, sparking a catch-up conversation just before the event commenced.
Fans quickly reacted to the video with enthusiasm. One viewer jokingly suggested, “Fashion Week? No, it’s Gossip Girl’s secret season 7 premiere,” while another commented, “The reunion we have all waited for :)”
Rutherford’s Special Guest
Rutherford didn’t attend the show alone; she was accompanied by her 18-year-old son, Hermés Giersch, whom she co-parents with her former husband Daniel Giersch.
This appearance is among the first for the mother-son pair following a protracted and public custody dispute that took place over a decade ago.
Back in 2015, Rutherford faced a difficult three-year legal battle over the custody of Hermés and his younger sister, Helena, now 15. The dispute, which spanned multiple countries, involved the children frequently traveling between France and the United States.
It seems Hermés shares his mother’s passion for fashion, having previously joined her at a Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week event earlier this January.
The duo also made their presence known at a Time magazine event on the red carpet over the weekend.
