Imelda May – Call Me

Today sees the release of this brilliant new single from Imelda May, along with a serious change in both her music and her look. Imelda was known for her rockabilly style, but heading into 2017 it’s all change for the Irish singer.

““I always loved the Fifties rockabilly style but there was a point where I felt I was almost dressing up as Imelda May. It was as if I was getting into character for a gig. And I didn’t want to do that anymore. This is me”, she explains. The resulting video is high on style which matches the brilliance of the song, a sumptuous number that you simply have to listen to over and over again. If this song is anything to go by, we’ve all got a lot to look forward to.
