The excitement for Shania Twain’s new album – her first in fifteen very long years – is growing and last month Rolling Stone Magazine conducted an interview with the Canadian superstar where she confirmed that her fifth studio LP is due for release in May and the lead single is due to drop in March.
But we are now in the last week of the month and we still haven’t had an official announcement or release of the eagerly anticipated new single, her first release since ‘Today Is Your Day’ back in 2011. But the Queen of country music dropped a hint on Twitter last week that the new single is just around the corner by writing: “Expect some change and something different from my new material” she accompanied the exciting tweet with a wink emoji.
And now rumours are swirling on the social media website that the ‘From This Moment On’ hitmaker will debut her brand new single, the lead track off the new album on Sunday, April 2nd at the ACM Awards.
We here at Belles and Gals are very excited that this Sunday could finally be the day we hear a new song from Shania Twain. And the timing couldn’t be better as she will be headlining the Stagecoach Festival on April 29th. So that would mean the single will be officially released several weeks before she headlines the Country Music Event and just one month before the album is due for release.
