Standout British-American country music group Jess and the Bandits return on July 19th with their most impressive single yet; ‘Don’t Let Me Take You Home’. The track was co-written with renowned songwriters James T Slater (Carrie Underwood/Rascal Flatts/Willie Nelson) and Zach Abend and is one of Jess’ favourite songs she has ever written.
Its release also signals the start of the band’s exciting new chapter with frontwoman Jess becoming a mother recently, and they are also set to go on tour across the UK this coming October.

Jess and the Bandits are at the forefront of the UK-US country music crossover scene thanks majorly to the fact that they consist of a part-Texan, part-British group dynamic making them true pioneers of the ever-growing country scene here in Britain.
They have been an integral part of the country movement across the UK in recent years with their singles racking up major plays on BBC Radio 2 playlists, and they have even performed live on the late, great Sir Terry Wogan’s Radio 2 Sunday sessions.
They have also taken their sound beyond the airwaves, appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, Aled Jones’ Weekend, Channel Five’s The Wright Stuff and Sky’s Sunrise show making them famous faces here in the UK.
Speaking about their new track, and the decision to release it this Friday, Jess says: “This has always been one of my favorite songs I’ve written. It’s been completely finished for quite some time but we’ve never had the opportunity to put it on any of the albums. For me, this song encompasses so much that I love about country music. I’m excited to release ‘Don’t Let Me Take You Home’ as a single so it can have the life it deserves. “

The emotive, anthemic piece of songwriting powered by Jess’ distinctive vocal develops from a soft piano-led ballad to a wall of lush guitar layers in a powerful crescendo making it a real standout from the country music outfit.
