Krista Angelucci Releases Wonderful ‘Jungle’ Video!
Krista Angelucci is one of our favourite artists here at Belles and Gals, a real rising star of the Nashville scene. Last year our feature writer, Melanie Meriney, interviewed Krista for the site (check it out here) and now Krista is back with a great new track – ‘Jungle’! And check out the incredible video above! We caught up with Krista this week to talk all things ‘Jungle’!
Hi Krista, I want to congratulate on the amazing new video for your new single ‘Jungle’ – it’s incredible. It must have been a blast filming it! Where did you film it, and exactly how much fun was it to make?
Thank you so much! The video was actually filmed in SC at Myrtle Beach Safari. The safari is a world renowned animal Preservation that was founded by Doc Antle. Doc’s son Kody was the male lead in the Jungle video. Kody, Doc and the whole team were amazing to work with and I learned so much from my time there. It was honestly one of the coolest experiences of my life! My cheeks were hurting form smiling so much haha! I am a huge animal lover and it was just such a DREAM to be able to hang with these incredible animals. Felt like my own Disney movie!
The song is just fantastic. How did you come up with the ‘Jungle’ idea?
I wrote the song with my good friend Shannon McArthur. I had the idea written down for awhile and I would have to say it probably stemmed from my love of leopards and Disney haha. This song has so many pieces of me!
For anyone who hasn’t heard you before, give us a brief insight into your music career?
I have been singing and writing since I can remember! Music has always been a passion of mine. I grew up in Massachusetts singing at church and that eventually turned into touring the New England area where I was able to share stages with artists such as Kip Moore, Phil Vassar, Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes, Jo Dee Messina, and others. I’ve also done quite a few National Anthems for many events such as the New England Patriots, NASCAR, Boston Celtics, and more. I’m currently living in Nashville, TN and continuing to further my career.
To finish, what plans have you got as we head towards the end of the year?
Right now I am taking time to write my next single and all of those next steps, but really enjoying being able to finally share the new Jungle music video! Its been a blast!
