Annie Dressner’s ‘Nyack’ – Out Now!

Annie Dresner has just released her new single ‘Nyack’. Annie is an acoustic folk singer songwriter who recently opened for Lucy Grubb at her headline show in Norwich, and immediately caught my ear with her crisp but distinctive vocals and original sound. ‘Nyack’ was one of the tracks she played in the set- Nyack being a village in New York, which she looks back on visiting during the track.

Annie Dresner is from New York and made the move to the UK seven years ago, where she has forged a successful career. She released ‘Broken Into Pieces’, her second studio album, last year and the new single ‘Nyack’, is the first release from her upcoming third album. It’s already making a big impact, with BBC Radio 6 Music already giving it two spins – and it’s had the same impact on me!
