Charlotte Young’s ‘Praying for Rain’ – Out Now!

Yesterday saw the release of ‘Praying for Rain’, the brand new single from Charlotte Young. Belles and Gals followers will know all about Charlotte if you watched her live stream with us recently and the new single offers up another impressive release for the Birmingham based artist, following on from her chart topping debut release ‘Whiplash’.

The new single is a heartbreak track, where the singer laments ‘I just sit here praying for rain, watching you walk away, wishing you’d come back to stay‘. With Charlotte’s powerful and emotive vocals the story of the song is brought home, with excellent production making for a fantastic power ballad.

’I wanted to write something from the perspective of one of the characters…I know how upsetting it can be during a breakup and rewrote the verses into a story. After such an exciting year I am really looking forward to releasing my brand new single. I wanted to show my love for a power ballad and hope that everyone enjoys something that incorporates familiarity but with something new and my own spin on love and loss…”
