Cross Atlantic Release New Single “Jigsaw Puzzle”

We have been following the career of Nashville based duo Cross Atlantic ever since we first came across them back in 2017 when they opened for Brandy Clark on her UK tour, and what an exciting ride it’s been for them since then! Missouri born Karli and Yorkshire born James’ random meeting in a Nashville coffee shop led to a blossoming relationship both personally and professionally that overcame the geographical hurdles thrown at it, they married just over a year ago and are now firmly established on the country music scene. 2019 saw the release of their debut EP “Beginnings”, and earlier this year their single “Just A Word” spent time on Spotify’s New Music Nashville playlist and remains on Apple Music’s Country Wide playlist.
This week sees the release of their new single “Jigsaw Puzzle”, a fun take on the classic love song, looking at how sometimes things are just meant to be when it comes to relationships… pretty much a true reflection of their story! Written by the pair together with their frequent cowriter Porter Howell, James also co-produced the track alongside Derek George who has worked with the likes of Randy Houser and Tenille Arts. The feel-good song cleverly incorporates both honest, heartfelt sentiments in the verses with a more playful chorus which is insanely infectious, Karli as impressive as ever on lead vocals with James joining her with some beautiful harmonies, their voices blending perfectly. There’s some fantastic slide guitar on the track too, courtesy of Porter, which made its way onto the final recording from the original demo.

Of the release, Cross Atlantic say ” Whenever we’ve played the song live we’ve been asked to put it out so it can be ‘ THEIR’ new song! We hope it brings you together in these crazy times. Lean into music and your loved one. That’s what makes the world go round!”.
