Sam Coe releases ‘Comeback Queen’ Album!
Today sees the release of Sam Coe’s new solo album ‘Comeback Queen’. The album is influenced by the sound of throw-back instrumentation like the Fender Rhodes, the new record is heavily piano driven, while combining tremolo guitars, hammond organ and her beloved Gibson with an emotional and raw vocal.
The first single from the album, ‘Hard Times’, went straight into the iTunes country chart at number 2 and gave us a great indication of what we could expect from the album, and currently, the album, literally hours after its launch, is riding high in the top 3 of the iTunes chart already. The album has a real energy and variety, with forceful performances throughout from the Norwich based artist – this is country with a difference, adding in a psychadelic angle at times, for a thoroughly compelling listen!
The official album launch was in Sam’s home town last night at Epic studios, where she was joined by Fatherline (fronted by Wandering Hearts founder Tim Prottry-Jones), Ags Connolly and Breeze Redwine.
