‘Strong Man’ from Natalie Pearson is Out Now!
Today we’re delighted to feature the wonderful Natalie Pearson on Belles and Gals for the first time. Natalie was born here in the UK and emigrated to Western Australia as a child, with strong family connections here and a place in her heart for the UK. The singer songwriter has created a real buzz on the Australian music scene, with extensive play across her homeland and more than a million streams of her music on Spotify.
The new single, ‘Strong Man‘, was released this last Friday and it’s a track that makes an immediate impact. Natalie’s stand out voice kick off a song where she sends out a clear message – she’s tired of the kind of man who just don’t treat women right. The song has attitude from those opening notes, and the Aussie-based singer doesn’t let up with those powerhouse vocals, with an almost Carrie Underwood vibe to her performance. The fantastic production, and especially the rocking guitar work, provides the perfect platform for Natalie to show off her talents to the max.
Lyrics such as, ‘Cos it don’t count for nothing boy, if you don’t treat me kind, I wanna man who understands his wrong from right, A man who knows my mind, yeah‘ tell the story of the song. You can buy her presents and take her out for expensive meals, but she wants much more than that.
‘Strong Man’ is a fine introduction to Natalie Pearson, and will surely have you searching her back catalogue to see what you have missed out on. And certainly wanting more!
