Carly Pearce Announces Release of “29: Written In Stone” On September 17th

I realised, as much as ‘ 29 ‘ captured a moment, I wasn’t done with the story” reflects Carly Pearce with regards to her critically acclaimed seven track release. It’s no secret that the Kentucky native was in the throes of tumult, exhaustion and deep, soul-shaking disappointment following the break-up of her marriage and loss of her producer and champion Busby to cancer at the time, and writing these deeply personal songs was not only cathartic but helped her rediscover her country roots and grounding .

The past year has seen Carly accepting, laughing, crying and moving on wiser for the experience, and as Carly explains “As the smoke cleared, and some unbelievable things started happening, I was writing even more truth and getting lifted up even higher“. And we can all hear the results of this inspirational, creative outpouring when ” 29: Written In Stone” is released on September 17th via Big Machine Records.  Comprising of the seven original tracks mingled with eight more it fully tell the story of  “how you thrive and shine even in the lowest moments“, to quote the CMA and Double ACM award-winning artist. Produced by Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, the Country-grounded song cycle continues the recognition, healing and triumph that has defined Carly’s last twelve months.
There’s some incredible names among the co-writers as you’ll no doubt notice on the track-listing below, including Ashley McBryde who also adds her vocals to the song they collaborated on .  And just look at who else lends their voice to the release on the song “Dear Miss Loretta“, only the legendary Patty Loveless who just happened to be tuned in to the Grand Ole Opry when Carly debuted the song on that hallowed stage a few months ago and who let her know she would love to sing that piece of truth.
To hear Patty Loveless sing your words, there’s no way to describe that sensation” says Carly. “Her voice IS Appalachia, those mountains and hollers are country music. To think, a year ago, I was asking myself ‘ What would Patty Loveless do?” thinking about all her songs, how smart and sassy she always was…and now she’s on one of mine“. Well there’s no need to wait till September 17th to hear the result as the track is available now https://carlypearce.lnk.to/DearMissLoretta_UKPR
And as I type this, Carly is no doubt preparing for one of the biggest honours to be bestowed on any country artist as she prepares to become the newest member of the Opry family having recently been invited by Dolly Parton… congratulations, and enjoy every moment of your special evening!
