Road to C2C Festival 6 – Lainey Wilson
If there is an artist you could pinpoint that was always destined for the main stage at C2C, it has to be Lainey Wilson. Lainey’s career has been on an amazing trajectory in recent years and looking back at our posts surrounding the artist (https://www.bellesandgals.com/?s=lainey+wilson) you can follow some of the amazing adventure she has been on. Last year Lainey released her second major-label album ‘Bell Bottom Country’ and it’s been award after award for the singer songwritersince. In 2021 she won the ACM awards for ‘New Female Artist of the Year’ and Song of the Year for ‘Things a Man Oughta Know’
More success followed in 2022 when she won both the ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ at the CMA Awards.
2023 is kicking off with a high with Lainey entertaining the crowds in London, Glasgow and Dublin and you get the feeling that the Louisiana native could be one of the names on everyone’s lips come the end of the festival on Sunday night.
